The Automotive Speed Technologies 996TT fresh air intake plenum is hands down the strongest, most reliable (for long term use) and best performing intake plenum on the market. This hard inlet pipe kit is designed to enhance the performance of your Porsche 996TT by allowing fresh air to flow freely to the turbos for quick spool and additional power - very important for modified cars running larger than OEM turbos or flashed cars running higher than standard boost. The system consists of our SpeedTech aluminum Hi-Flow intake plenum with 70mm outlets, attached to propriatary EVOMS 70mm molded hard plastic turbo inlet pipes for smooth, uniform high flow. Silicon hose and clamps are supplied to connect the turbo inlet pipes. The SpeedTech Hi-Flow plenum is designed to flow significantly more air than the OEM plenum and deliver it quickly and smoothly with no restrictions or bottlenecks all the way from the MAF tube to the turbo inlets. A very worthwhile and important upgrade to maximize power for all modified 996TT’s.

Our thin walled aluminum Plenum design is lighter than OEM and allows you to hear the air rushing through the plenum on it's way to the turbos. If you have upgraded turbos and exhaust, this is the next power upgrade that you should install.

Our lower EVOMS sourced plastic pipe is 1/4" thick and extremely durable - virtually indestructible. When a plenum and fresh air inlet pipes are installed, these pipes are sandwiched between the motor and the firewall and are exposed to a lot of vibration and chafing. They are also exposed to road debris on the underside of the car. A breach of this pipe at any point, whether from rubbing behind the motor or debris from underneath the car will result in dust, san, stone or worse being sucked in to your turbos and motor. Since these areas are seldom, if ever checked, a failure will most likely result in unknowingly ingesting debris into your motor for an extended period of time or until it causes a catastrophic failure.

We firmly caution that this is not an area to risk using less durable materials, such as some of the "vacume hose" designs or "soft, thin walled aluminum pipes" which are susceptible to and known for quick wear-through from abrasion, puncture or both. The EVOMS hard piping is considerably thicker and stronger than the OEM plastic pipe it replaces, which is a significant upgrade in terms of quality, durability and performance.

The SpeedTech Hi-Flow Plenum/Pipe kit offers maximum, unrestricted air flow, a perfectly uniform and smooth air passage with no abrupt angles or necked down transitions and extremely durable thick piping behind and under the motor, where it is vital for long term reliability and complete peace of mind.

Standard Finish of the plenum is polished aluminum, but it is also available in a variety of extremely durable powder coat finishes which can be matched to your car exterior color or any other color you desire for a beautiful show car appearance.
