We offer two muffler styles for the 987.1 Boxster & Cayman. A "sport" exhaust and a "Sound Valve" exhaust. Both provide a more aggressive, sport sound when compared to the stock exhaust.

The "Sport" version provides a very tasteful, sporty sound, developed for the enthusiast, so you can enjoy the sound of your Boxster or Cayman to the fullest.

The "Sound Valve" muffler is designed to offer the best of both worlds, i.e. - stock-like sound (just a bit louder than OEM) when the valves are closed and a very aggressive, exotic race like sound when open... "The Best of Both Worlds"! This version includes a key fob wireless remote and all vacuum lines, instuctions, etc. for a complete installation.

The enhanced notes of both these systems are very tasteful with an exotic car type sound, developed for the enthusiast, so either system will allow you to enjoy the sound of your Boxster or Cayman motor!

In order to maximize performance and improve throttle response, both of these muffler systems are manufactured with a free-flow design and eliminate the secondary catalytic converters on the mid-pipes in order to achieve our performance goals.
 
The SpeedTech 987.1 exhaust fits all ‘05-’08 Boxster and '06-'08 Cayman automobiles (2.7L & 3.4).

For maximum performance gain and best sound, we recommend installing our X-Pipe and tips with this muffler.
